PC/ABS owns relatively high heat‑deflection temperature ranging from 80 ℃ to 125 ℃, while certain high‑heat‑resistant grades can reach 142 ℃. High‑temperature‑resistant modification is achieved by adjusting base‑material composition and incorporating heat‑resistant modifiers. The heat‑deflection temperature of finished parts can be further increased by around 10 ℃ after annealing treatment.
Main Uses Widely applied for components working under high‑temperature conditions, such as automotive instrument panels, engine‑bay parts, radiator grilles, lamp housings, baker components and internal‑external microwave‑oven parts. In electrical‑electronic industry, it is used for heat‑resistant aging‑test equipment and appliance housings deployed in high‑temperature surroundings.
